Mr. Taylor received his Juris Doctor degree from McGeorge School of Law in 1989. He attended Advanced Mediator Training at Pepperdine School of Law, Straus Institute for Alternative Dispute Resolution, and Advanced Arbitrator Training from American Arbitration Association. He formerly practiced law at Kinkle, Rodiger & Spriggs in San Diego, California and Diepenbrock, Wulff, Plant & Hannegan in Sacramento, California. Mr. Taylor has been of counsel at Hefner, Stark & Marois, LLP, since 1996. Currently, Mr. Taylor serves on the American Arbitration Association Commercial Complex Case panel as well as numerous court mediation panels. Formerly, he was on the Board of Directors of the California Dispute Resolution Council, a member of the London Court of International Arbitrations and the International Chamber of Commerce arbitration panel. In addition, he is frequently an author, keynote speaker and guest lecturer. Recent speaking engagements include: Guest Lecturer, Ain Shams University, Cairo, Egypt, Conflict Resolution Without Litigation; California State University, Sacramento, guest lecturer, Alternative Dispute Resolution; Coalition for Adequate School Housing, Trends in Construction Litigation; University of California Facilities Conference, Recent Trends in Bid Protests (panel). |
