Michael A. Rubin’s primary area of practice is commercial transactional real estate law. His practice includes the negotiation and documentation of real estate acquisitions, sales, office, industrial and retail leases, development agreements, easement agreements, cost sharing agreements and other real estate-based transactions.

Mr. Rubin graduated from the University of California at Santa Barbara in 1990. He received his Juris Doctor from McGeorge School of Law, with Distinction, in 1993. He received the American Jurisprudence Award in Land Finance Law, was Recipient of the Vern Adrian and Annabel McGeorge Academic Achievement Scholarship and became a member of the Traynor Honor Society. Prior to working at Hefner, Stark & Marois, LLP, he was an associate at Gaw, Van Male, Smith, Myers & Miroglio in Napa, California. Mr. Rubin has been an associate at Hefner, Stark & Marois, LLP since 2004.

Mr. Rubin has assisted residential and commercial developers in the development and sale of real property, including subdivisions, shopping center properties, office and warehouse properties and others. His clients include developers, merchant homebuilders and private landowners.

Mr. Rubin is an Associate Member of the Association of Commercial Real Estate, a member of the Real Estate Section of the Sacramento County Bar and the Real Property Section of the State Bar of California.
